Still, Namitha doesn’t need to worry as to what she should be doing next. Unlike Kollywood, Tollywood has been more kind to her. Sources close to the actress say that she has been literally ‘flooded’ with offers to act in Telugu films.
Her latest Telugu film ‘Simha’ opposite Balakrishna has been declared as a ‘superhit’ and has been running to packed houses all over Andhra Pradesh. Though Namitha’s not playing ‘solo heroine’ roles, her films have been doing well. After the Telugu version of ‘Billa’, Namitha has another hit on her hands now. This has forced Namitha, who had been planning to produce a film in Tamil, to concentrate in acting in Telugu films.
In what could be a heart-breaking news for many Chennaiites and for the actress’ fans, Namitha has decided to shift her residence from Chennai to Hyderabad. The lanky actress has reportedly denied that renting a house in Hyderabad would be a far better option than shuttling between Hyderabad and Chennai, where she doesn’t have a single project on hand!
Meanwhile, Nayantara was the other heroine in ‘Simha’ who has also benefited from the film’s success as she too has got more new film offers in Telugu.
